Allegro Bells

This group is our beginning-level handbell choir. If you would like to ring handbells, but you have never tried, this is for you. No musical experience is necessary, although it will help if you can count to 3 and 4. We have the bells and the gloves – all we need is you. Rehearsals are Wednesday, 6:45 – 7:30 in the choir room, B105.

Acoustic guitar, banjo, fiddle, and bass accompany the unison and mixed voices.  Rehearsals are Sunday, 10:00 – 11:00 am in the choir room, B105.

Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir leads worship at both 8:30 and 10:00 services. The choir leads the liturgy, psalms, and hymns, as well as presenting special choral anthems during the offering. The choir sings a wide variety of musical styles and sources, from chant, baroque, classical, and contemporary. We rehearse together as a single choir, and then separate as two choirs – one each to lead the 8:30 and 10:00 services. Rehearsals are Thursday, 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the choir room, B105.

Messenger
Messenger is an ensemble of members who lead the congregation in songs and liturgy at the 11:15 service. We use guitars, both acoustic and electric, saxophone, trumpet, and drums. Singers learn unison melody and 2-part and 4-part harmony – depending on the song. Rehearsals are Monday, 7:30 – 9:00 pm in the Sanctuary.

This handbell choir consists of adults who ring at an intermediate level. Resounding Joy regularly rings once a month at worship as well as at special festivals - even weddings. Rehearsals are Wednesday, 7:22 – 8:30 pm in the choir room, B105.
