YOUTH MINISTRIES

Our Vision: The children and youth programs exist to lead children and youth to an understanding of Christ’s love through grace and to help them to live in the world as His disciples serving wholeheartedly with thankfulness, integrity and an unselfish love for others.

Our Mission: To Love God, grow in our relationship with Him through Jesus Christ, and serve Him in all we do through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Sunday Night Lutherans (SNL)

Sundays, 6-8pm

Middle School and High School Youth gather together in Shepherd’s Hall for dinner, followed by some fun and games. We then head to the Youth Room for a Bible study that is relative to what’s going on in the world and our own lives. We end the evening in prayer. Parent volunteers are needed to supply dinner and as small group leaders.

Exteme Team

Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30pm

Extreme Team is a program for High School youth that combines Bible Study and worship development. A mini “Worshiptivity” for our congregation. Extreme Team will work with New Beginnings to lead a brief worship at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary. After worship we will meet in the youth room for a Bible Study on the following Wednesday night’s worship theme and then break into teams to work on the skit/sermon, liturgy/prayers and music selection. Once the worship is created the Extreme Team will provide the worship leadership the next Wednesday evening during worship.

 Confirmation

Wednesdays, 7-8:30pm

Our 6th—8th graders attend weekly Confirmation classes. This is a three year comprehensive program that includes small groups, worship, homework, confirmation mentors, memory work, family service projects, retreats, video and music clips.
