Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed with your busy life? Try thinking about this—escaping to a peaceful wildlife preserve where you can relax and hang out with friends. No cooking because meals are provided for you. A time to reflect and grow in one’s faith! Sounds perfect, doesn’t it? Sounds like I’m Still Standing!
I’m Still Standing is a relaxing retreat the women of our church are doing together this spring. Cindy Wolf and Kathy Reynolds have planned a wonderful time that includes worship, Bible study, and time for laughter as well as time for quiet reflection. The focus of the retreat is self-care – the practice of taking care of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of one’s life to promote health and wellness. As women, we are often so busy taking care of others, we forget ourselves. The I’m Still Standing retreat is a weekend to step away from our busy lives and reenergize ourselves.
We’ll begin with dinner on the evening of Friday, March 15, 2024 and will finish by noon on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Our retreat will be held at Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center and the cost is only $200.00 per person for double occupancy and $250.00 per person for single occupancy. This covers 2 nights of lodging, 5 delicious meals, and all supplies for our fun and refreshing activities.
Stop by our information table in Hanberry Hall during services on January 28, February 4th, February 11th, February 18th, and February 25th to learn more and register.
Take time to relax, to make new friends, to worship, and to draw closer to God. We hope you’ll join us at I’m Still Standing – a retreat for all women and friends of Trinity.
