This Christmas Eve, we will have several unique opportunities to worship our Lord. You will see an explanation of each of these opportunities for worship below. In anticipation of Christmas Eve, as we reflect on these new and different ways to worship this year, we give thanks that Christmas is God coming into a dark and broken world in unconventional ways to bring new life, which is the true meaning of Christmas! We look forward to once again celebrating Christmas and the wonderful gift of salvation given to us in Jesus born in Bethlehem. Outdoor Family Worship | Wednesday, 12/23 | 3:00 PM Due to an inclement weather forecast on Christmas Eve, we will gather outside the day before to celebrate Christmas together, with a special emphasis on sharing the Christmas story with our young people. However, people of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend. Holy Communion and candle lighting will be a part of this worship opportunity. Please bring your own candle (real or mechanical) to use during the candle lighting. Real candles will be lit by ushers and worship helpers. Jingle bells will be made available to kids to use during carols. Please remember to bring your own chairs, and make sure to register below.
Drive-Thru Communion | Thursday, 12/24 | 4:30–5:00 PM We will have Drive-Thru Communion from 4:30 PM–5:00 PM. This will be set up behind the church in the same place we have it on Sunday mornings. Indoor Worship | Sanctuary | Thursday, 12/24 | 6:30 PM & 9:00 PM We will gather in the sanctuary to celebrate Christmas together. Holy Communion and candle lighting will be a part of this worship opportunity. Candles will be provided for worship. Please make sure to register below. These services will also be livestreamed and recorded for viewing from home.
Outdoor Worship Under the Stars | Thursday, 12/24 | 11:00 PM We will gather “under the stars” for this celebration of Christmas. Holy Communion and candle lighting will be a part of this worship opportunity. Candles will be provided for worship. Please bring your own chair, and make sure to register below.
Again, please register yourself and any family and friends that might be attending in-person services. We also ask that you follow all protocols for both indoor and outdoor worship to safely gather.
